Salt & Pepper / Mala Spicy Chips
Ingredients
500g Chips/Fries
½ Red pepper (thinly sliced)
½ Green pepper (thinly sliced)
½ Red onion (thinly sliced)
2 tbsp Chopped coriander
2 spring onions (sliced)
3 tbsp Vegetable oil
1 tbsp Fried garlic (optional)
2 tbsp Hawker Dan Salt and Pepper Seasoning / Sichuan Mala Spice Mix
Method
1. Cook your chips as directed on the packet. (or make homemade ones if you have the time!
2. Whilst your chips are cooking, mix all the other ingredients apart from the Hawker Dan Salt and Pepper seasoning into a bowl.
3. As soon as your chips are cooked (you want them piping hot and crispy!) add them to your bowl, the heat from the chips will help soften your sliced vegetables whilst maintaining a crunch!
4. In the bowl, add your Hawker Dan Salt and Pepper Seasoning, whilst tossing continuously. Once all the chips are well seasoned, plate up and serve!
